Process

If you would like us to begin a candidate search for your family, we will need a full description of your family's needs. You will need to fill out our Family Application and Agreement. As soon as we receive your family application and a retainer of $250, we will begin sending over qualified candidates. We listen closely to your needs and concerns and present you with the most suitable candidates for your job. The average search takes from 1 to 6 weeks depending on what your time frame is. On average we refer over 3-6 candidates the same or next day. If for some reason, the candidates are not matches, then we will continue sending over candidates until you have found your perfect candidate. In general, we offer quality, so most client’s interview no more than 6 total. We will work closely with you and offer support and assistance throughout the process. We will help you negotiate employment terms, salary, starting date, daily duties and expectations, days off, responsibilities, vacations and benefits. We make the right placement the first time. Whereas, most of our competitors only offer a 90-day replacement guarantee, we off a 1-year replacement guarantee so that you can rest assure that if you are not completely satisfied with your nanny then we will replace the employee at absolutely no additional charge to you.

We prefer for you to interview the candidates in your home, so that they can see their work environment. We always go over your job description with them thoroughly. Once we find a candidate who fits your criteria, we then e-mail you their profile. From here, we recommend that you have a phone interview and then an in-person interview with the candidate. We are more than happy to help you set up the time and date for the in-person interview or you can do that during your phone interview. We also provide to you a set of sample interview questions, so that you are properly prepared for your interviews.

After you have met a nanny that you would like to hire, we like for you to have the nanny work for a "trial” week before you pay our fee. This helps make you feel more secure that you made the right choice. All criminal background checks are done once the family notifies us that they have made a job offer to the nanny. After we have confirmed that the nanny will be working for you, we will charge you the placement fee. As soon as we have received payment, we will start all the background checks and send the nanny to update her CPR and First Aid, as well as complete the drug screening. Our placement fee must be paid in full prior to the employee's start date. The placement fee does not include the retainer unless otherwise specified.
